Background

Ellis is a wandering Djinn who never likes to stay in one place too long. He's a newcomer to Ame and Danchu's home, having run into both of them during a particularly unsuccessful house raid in Japan. He is told he is welcome to stay at Emily's house as long as he likes, so long as he curbs his bad habit of possessing and stealing from people and tries for a more honest life. Ellis sullenly agrees, torn between resentful appreciation of their hospitality, the harsh lessons his past life taught him and his own hesitations with getting close to others. He tries very hard to be on his best behavior around his new friends, and learns more from them than he would ever care to admit. He still sneaks a bracelet or two when he really can't help himself, but... baby steps. ^u^
