Behold, in all his slimy, orange-y, glory: SCP-999!!! If you don't know him:[link] Don't even try to say you wouldn't want one. This thing is absolutely adorable!! One of my favorite SCPs, I was surprised at the lack of fanart for this little guy, he deserves ALL THE LOVE! Tried to keep him simple and clean, as he's essentially just a large gelatinous mass, but I could't help myself with the eyes, it was just too cute to not do!
Drawn on my old Arabic copybook (of course ), colored in Photoshop. Squees, comments, criticism, tips and advice all welcome, as always
Truly an adorable creation, it contains both charm and a show of skill. It has a nice color with a very great smile, the warmth of the color complements the emotion. It looks nice and messy, the slime and gooey substance shows very well.
I don't really have any problems with the drawing, though there are some suggestions I would like to make. It would be cool to see some transparency in the slime, add a background to make it more clear of the transparency. Some detail in the inside of the mouth would be a nice addition as well. These are just some suggestions though, it already looks great on its own.
You have done a good job at making him look cute and playful like his personality. He doesn't look like a ditto witch people usually make him look like, he has depth, slime dribbling down him. This artwork is amazing, the shading is very well done and there isn't an outline witch really helps make it look realistic. And all together this is just a brilliant piece of art and that's why it has 5 vision 5 originality 5 technique and 5 impact ^^ also i just love spc-999 its the cutest thing ever... wish it existed
Someone PLEASE add him in SCP Containment Breach! I'd like to travel through the facility and imagine the encounter to be something like this:
You make your way through the corridors and encounter a door with a ripped up poster next to it. Upon entering, all is quiet and in the middle of the room is a pen built for a moderately sized animal. After approaching it, you can pick up a chocolate bar, and then you turn around. You hear the sound of some slime and the player immediately assumes that it's SCP-106. Looking around shows nothing at all. However, upon approaching the door, you hear some sort of gurgling in the room and the camera pans upwards towards the ceiling only to see an orange blob fall on the player. The screen goes black for a second before a message reads: "You feel very ticklish and strangely happy."
After the vision returns, the player finds themselves staring at THIS little guy. He then waves and smiles at you before heading to its pen and grabbing a document for you to see. The document lists the details of SCP-999 and from that moment on, it will follow you around and help you escape. Whenever you encounter SCP-173, 999 will keep its eyesight locked on it, so no matter how many times the player blinks, or looks away, 173 will be unable to do a thing. When encountering SCP-106, 999 will get in its way and will be sent to the pocket dimension, but not before latching on to 106 and bringing it along to keep it away from the player. After some time passes, SCP will re-appear with the player in a random room. (The player is capable of escaping the pocket dimension, let's assume 999 can too). During the time that 999 is in that pocket dimension, 106 CAN be encountered again, and you will be placed in the dimension. However, you will meed 999 and it will lead you out.
When encountering SCP-049, 999 will latch on to you and make 049's touch non-lethal. Unlike wearing SCP-714, which can make 049's touch non-lethal as well, 049 will not be able to remove 999.
When encountering SCP-096, 999 will bind itself to its legs and leave a part of its slime to keep its feet bound, successfully slowing it down. This also weakens 999 for a considerable amount of time. It will heal over time, but dropping sweets on the floor will help it heal faster.
What do you think? Should we make this happen? Due to the fact that SCP-999 will make the game TOO easy, its containment chamber should be hard to find.
He should also trigger special endings for both Gates A and B. With Gate A, if SCP-106 has NOT been contained, the ending will play as normal until the guards attempt to shoot the player. At this point, SCP-999 will wrap itself around the player and absorb bullets to prevent any harm. The guards take notice of this and cease fire. An audio message then plays where scientists are discussing the player's fate.
If SCP-106 has been successfully contained, the secondary Gate A ending will play normally, but the guards will lower their weapons upon taking notice of SCP-999, to which they will make some quick comments. The standard Gate A alternate ending plays from then on.
Yeah, It's a horror game. But, this guy's in it. SCP-Containment Breach is a Horror Game. SCP-Foundation is Wiki containing the stories of the SCP's. So, by that realization. The REAL SCP-Series is the SCP-Foundation Wiki, as the game came after it. Am I getting this right?
